The Supermarine Walrus or Supermarine Seagull V was designed and produced by Supermarine from 1936 to 1944. Seven hundred forty airframes were built, and the aircraft served as the primary catapult-launched scouts for the Royal Navy in World War Two. Due to its versatility and good range, it also performed well in search and rescue missions, as well as in anti-submarine warfare.
